Meet the 36-Hour Challenge Teams

GRFF’s inaugural 36-Hour Challenge brings together 17 groups of ambitious innovators. The competition serves as a gathering for local filmmakers. It’s a valuable opportunity to make future connections. To make this seemingly large population of filmmakers more intimate, we’ve highlighted a few contenders racing the clock in two short weeks.

Cornerstone University’s Official Team consists of eight students including:

Larissa Fifer

Larissa Fifer

Larissa Fifer  “Growing up as a pastor’s daughter in a redneck, small town in Northern Michigan, I never imagined I'd be pursuing film as a career. After taking a community college screenwriting course, I found my love. Then when I decided on a school for film and started working on sets, I found my passion. Film has such an impact on this world today, I just hope to be a little light flickering in the darkness.

Elizabeth Okma “I'm the director for the Cornerstone team. I've always had a passion for storytelling, and the idea of being able to bring worlds and characters to life has always driven me to create and imagine. With my Cornerstone film family by my side and long experience with film, I'm excited to see what tale we'll weave.”
