A Good Story Well Told

I love to see creativity in action; when a filmmaker can take the subtle and make it monumental.  When a filmmaker takes different  character attributes and makes them come to life through metaphor and practical application…..and to do it well without being obvious.  Some of the film submittals we’re receiving are indeed impressive.  They hit the mark and leave an impression on you.  There has been one submittal where I keep rehashing the ending in my mind over and over asking myself if I would act the same way.

Other films?  Well, yes, some are lacking and may not make it due to a lack of artistic expression, lighting, story, cinematography, you name it.    But watching some of these submittals is indeed fun, entertaining and encouraging.  We continue to get films from all over.  We’re excited as our inaugural year is off to a good start.  We ‘re learning as we go.  Thank you for hanging with us!
